FAQ
In this section, I'm gonna answer some questions that you may have!
-
Why did you chose Equinox Tale as the name for your game?
The word "Equinox" is close to the word "Equine", used to describe creatures like horses.
"Tales", is to describe the story mode part in the game. And... It also sounds like "Tails".
Bonus: You can also refer to the game as EQT
-
Why did you chose Microtwi as the name for your "company" ?
Simply because of the word "Twilight", which means a time of day between day and night.
However, it doesn't specify which one it is. It could be the start of a new day or the end.
-
Why did you chose the name Equinox Tale as the name for your "game" ?
1. There is a story element to the game so "Tale" was a good fit.
2. Because the goal of the game is to make things back how they were in the beginning, to
bring back the balance of the realms.
3. As a joke / similarity to the word "Equine" and "Tail"
Bonus: You can also refer to it as EQT

Will this game be free?
While I want for everyone to have access to the game, the problem is that I still need to
sustain myself.
Furthermore, I want to give continuously updates to the game. Because of this a single
pricing model / one time payment won't work.
To put it simple, no, the FULL GAME will NOT be free.
-
Than, what is the pricing model for this game?
To make a simple and somewhat fair pricing model, I decided to go like this:
The base game with the first chapter, will be free. (A Demo Version)
Except the Chapter 1, every other Chapter will be sold individually.
As optional bonuses / items, items that will only be purely used for cosmetic, will also be
sold as separate.
This pricing model is available from 1th Jan 2026
